Phimosis

Phimosis is a condition where the foreskin of the penis cannot be fully retracted over the glans (head) of the penis. It can occur naturally in young children and may resolve over time, but in adults, it can cause discomfort, pain, and difficulty with hygiene or urination. Causes include infection, scarring, or chronic inflammation. Early diagnosis and management through proper hygiene, topical treatments, or surgical options such as circumcision help relieve symptoms and prevent complications.
