Jacob Thomas brings over 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He has been an integral part of the KIMSHEALTH journey in the GCC from its early beginnings to its evolution as a leading multi-country healthcare group. As Group Executive Director – Operations & Projects (GCC), he has played a pivotal role in building scalable healthcare operations, strengthening clinical and patient-centric systems, and guiding expansion across Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. His leadership reflects deep institutional knowledge, operational rigour, and a long-term commitment to sustainable healthcare excellence in the region.
He holds a Master’s degree in Hospital Management (MHM) from the Apollo Institute of Hospital Administration, Hyderabad, after his graduation in science.
He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
He is well-versed with healthcare delivery systems across the GCC, as well as in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, South and South East Asia, and North East and West Africa.

Journey
Mr Thomas began his career in healthcare operations and project management, gaining experience across leading hospital groups and consulting environments. Prior to joining KIMSHEALTH, he was associated with Apollo Hospitals Group in their Projects Division and later founded a boutique healthcare consulting firm, Kritical Health Systems & Services, based in Bangalore, India.
At KIMSHEALTH, he has been instrumental in driving operational excellence, project execution, and regional expansion. His experience spans healthcare delivery systems across the GCC, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, South and South East Asia, as well as North East and West Africa. Through this exposure, he brings a strong regional and international perspective to healthcare operations and development.
