About the procedure
Care before the procedure
- Inform doctor about medications, allergies, or bleeding disorders.
- Avoid blood-thinning medications if advised.
- Keep the area clean and intact.

Care during the procedure
- Local anesthesia applied to numb the area.
- Small incision made to drain pus.
- Wound cleaned and packed if needed.
- Minimal discomfort or pressure may be felt.
Care after the procedure
- Keep area clean and dry.
- Change dressings as instructed.
- Take prescribed antibiotics or pain relief medications.
- Monitor for signs of infection or recurrence and follow-up as advised.
