A breast lump is a localized swelling or mass within the breast tissue. Fibroadenoma is one of the most common benign breast lumps, especially in young women. These lumps are usually non-cancerous, smooth, and mobile. However, not all breast lumps are harmless, making evaluation essential to rule out malignancy. Breast lumps may arise from hormonal changes, cysts, or tumors. Early assessment through proper clinical and imaging tests ensures reassurance, timely treatment, and prevention of serious complications.
